Wiggin’ Out for a Cause: Join Me in Supporting Breast Cancer Survivors and Thrivers
It’s that time of year again when we turn passion into action with the Wiggin’ Out campaign, supporting the incredible work of Carolina Breast Friends (CBF). As many of you know, I’m all about style with substance, and this April, it’s all about pink wigs and big goals!
What’s Wiggin’ Out All About?
Wiggin’ Out is more than just donning a vibrant pink wig; it’s a movement. Throughout April, I, alongside other enthusiastic ‘Big Wigs,’ will sport fabulous pink wigs to ignite conversations, raise funds, and spread awareness for breast cancer support services provided by The Pink House. This sanctuary offers everything from mentorship and workshops to wellness programs that truly uplift those affected by breast cancer.
Why I’m Stepping Up as a Big Wig
My journey into this role is deeply personal. My mother was a breast cancer survivor, and witnessing her strength along with the battles of close friends solidified my resolve to make a difference. This campaign merges my love for fashion with my commitment to philanthropy, using my platform to support and empower those battling breast cancer.
This year, I’m thrilled to elevate this commitment by inviting YOU to join the fun and fundraising. Whether you’re new to philanthropy or a seasoned fundraiser, your involvement means we can extend our reach and deepen our impact.
How You’ll See Me Wiggin’ Out
Expect to see me everywhere with my pink wig—whether I’m serving aces on the tennis court, mingling at The Office Craft Bar and Kitchen, or crushing workouts at Lifetime Gym and Orange Theory. Each place I visit is an opportunity to advocate for this cause.
Join My Team and Make a Difference
I’m calling on you, my wonderful community, to get involved. Here’s how you can help:
- Join my team: Let’s pool our energies and resources to make a monumental impact.
- Attend our events: Stay tuned for exciting events where fun meets philanthropy.
- Donate: Every contribution helps provide essential support to those in need.
Together, we can ensure that no one faces breast cancer alone. Let’s make this year’s Wiggin’ Out campaign the most impactful yet!
Remember, every wig worn and dollar raised writes a story of hope and support. Let’s craft these stories together. Join me, wear your pink with pride, and let’s support our sisters and brothers in their most challenging times.
With all my love and gratitude,
Alisa
